Chile is one of the most geographically varied countries in Southern America, with landscapes varying from mountains to plains and from beaches to rain forests. In the north is an incredibly dry desert, and in the south it gets so cold that there are penguins. You'll never be bored in Chile!
Off the coast of Chile is an archipelago called Chiloe, and Chiloe Island is the largest of the smattering of islands. On it, you'll find a highly unique culture, and appreciators of architecture are sure to be stunned by the unique and varied buildings found here.
Iquique Beach and City
Iquique is sometimes referred to as the “Monte Carlo” of Chile, as these pristine beaches are also home to Iquique city, known throughout the country for its vibrant nightlife and gambling opportunities.
The Chilean Fjords
As we mentioned, the southern part of Chile is quite cold. You can sail through the area to have a stunning view of ice-capped mountains, all viewable from the Fjords which run throughout the region.
